Manchester City return to home soil aiming to stop the minor slide caused by two straight defeats in league and cup. Even so, their broader form remains elite—seven wins in their last ten across all competitions

Manchester City return to the Etihad looking to steady the ship after suffering defeats in both league and cup. There’s little reason for panic, though—Guardiola’s side have still won seven of their last ten in all competitions and, when they do click, they score in bunches. Each of their last four wins has seen them put up three or more goals, and they shut out Liverpool in their most recent Premier League home match.
City’s record against Leeds only strengthens the case for another comfortable afternoon. They’ve beaten the Yorkshire side four times in a row, hitting three or more goals in three of those meetings and keeping two clean sheets in that run.
Leeds arrive in Manchester in grim form, losing five of their last six league games. Their attack has dried up away from home, failing to score in four of six Premier League road fixtures. Defensive issues remain just as costly—they’ve shipped exactly three goals in two of their last three matches, both on their travels.
Everything points toward another one-sided contest: City’s firepower, Leeds’ lack of punch away from home, and the head-to-head trend all line up in the same direction.
Betting angle: Man City to win to nil; City team total over 2.5 goals.
